Our Vertical Sliding Sash Windows are the perfect solution for period properties, with all the nostalgia of a bygone age, but with none of the maintenance. You will experience all the benefits of PVCu Glazing systems; noise reduction, safety and security and energy efficiency.
Ideally suited for our Island climate, sash windows made from PVCu offer the realism of a traditional timber sliding sash window combined with 21st century thermal benefits – in addition to being fully secure. Fitting vertical sliding sash windows into new buildings gives the appearance of period character, as well as increase property value.
Unlike traditional sash windows that use a series of pulleys and lead weights, modern sash windows work effortlessly using spring balances that are concealed in the frame. Their well counterbalanced design means no more sticking, jamming or slipping.
An in-built tilt facility means the windows can be cleaned in safety from inside the house – so avoiding the need for ladders, and optional opening restrictors create secure ventilation by temporarily limiting the window opening more than a few inches – recommended if toddlers are living in the home.
These are just a few of the potential style variations available, please contact us for further options.
Frames are available in a range of coloured wood grain foil finishes to look like traditional timber and in a range of contemporary coloured finishes. As well as a wide choice of glazing options, classic-style hardware and fittings such as optional decorative horns and Georgian bars are the details that help replicate the traditional timber sash window and create a stunning finish.

Window Energy Ratings (WER’s) were introduced to provide consumers with a clear and simple comparison between the various window products. The system follows a similar rainbow label that you might be familiar with on white goods, so you can easily understand the level of thermal performance of new windows using categories of A B C D E of Energy Efficiency. The NEW A+ Window Energy Rating is achievable with some of our glazing options.
We also offer the next stage in energy efficiency: Triple Glazing. Our Triple Glazing now offers a 40% energy saving over our current A-Rated Double Glazing.
Double glazing is well known for its ability to reduce outdoor noise levels and new windows can help bring down the noise levels in your home by as much as a half, making your home quiet and serene, even if you live close to main roads or the airport.
A more comfortable home
Energy-efficient glazing reduces heat loss through windows and means fewer draughts and cold spots.
Reduced condensation
Energy-efficient glazing reduces condensation build-up on the inside of windows when vented.
By using less fuel, you’ll generate less of the carbon dioxide that leads to global warming – typically, 680kg a year.
Our PVCu profiles have the ability to create a carbon neutral dwelling by adding triple glazing.
Recyclable materials
The brands we offer are designed and manufactured with great effort to ensure that the life cycle of the products have minimal impact on the environment. Thanks to recent advances in recycling, PVC-U windows and doors are the first choice material for sustainability too.
